Approximately 50 Russian Universities Showcase at Education Fair in New Delhi
The first Indo-Russian Education Summit concluded in New Delhi with the participation of about 50 Russian universities. School and university students learned about opportunities for higher education in Russia, conditions for enrollment, and further employment. Local young people show great interest in medicine, engineering, aviation, management, the aerospace industry, nuclear science, and other fields.
“Today, Russian education remains at a high level and maintains a high bar in many areas in this sphere. The advantages of studying in Russia include high quality of education, cultural code, and great opportunities for self-realization of the young generation. It also remains important to maintain interest in Russia abroad, promote domestic technological potential, and facilitate the adaptation of foreign students in our country”, said Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Agency.
Deputy Minister of Education Denis Gribov, Deputy Minister of Health Tatiana Semenova, representatives of Indian educational institutions, and journalists also took part in the exhibition. The representative of the Ural Federal University was Natalia Kovaleva, Academic mobility coordinator. She talked about the programs of the university, and its infrastructure and answered the questions of the applicants about admission.
