Aretto Wins At the Global Footwear Awards 2022
Pune : Aretto, a kid-focused footwear brand rooted in technology, has been named the Winner of the Global Footwear Awards (GFA) 2022, in the Kid’s Fashion Footwear category. A Made in India brand, Aretto was also named the Overall Winner in the Kids category. These awards acknowledge the best footwear designers from all over the world with international recognition, and Aretto shared the stage with brands like Clarks, Zara, Timberland, North Face, and Kizik (backed by Nike).
Aretto’s innovative approach to footwear design, based on extensive research, design development, and patented, cutting-edge technology, has been the driving force for the company. Aretto identified a gap in the kids’ footwear market and created a shoe that expands with a child’s growing feet, offering comfort and style, and ultimately enabling natural and unhindered growth.
On achieving this milestone, serial entrepreneur and innovator, Satyajit Mittal, Co-Founder and CEO of Aretto said, “Aretto is a true embodiment of Indian ingenuity and innovation, and we take great pride in being recognized on a global stage for our unique designs and concepts. As a brand, we recognize the importance of finding the perfect fit for growing feet, which is why we’ve developed shoes that grow along with the child, providing unmatched comfort and support.”
Aretto Leaps, Aretto’s first product line, uses three of its patented technologies to create a perfect fit for growing feet. The SuperGrooves™ (Y-Grooves built into the sole) adapt to the millimetric growth of children’s feet, and open and grow as the child’s feet grow. The Aretto Squishy Foam™ is a soft memory foam insole that makes the shoes incredibly comfortable and reduces the pressure on kids’ feet. The InfiKnit™ is a 3D knitted stretchable, durable fabric from which the shoe’s upper body is made offering flexibility and breathability to the wearer.
Aretto’s technologies are also key to the brand’s sustainability efforts that facilitate minimal-waste production. The technology gives parents access to cutting-edge, comfortable footwear options for their children. Designed and manufactured in India, Aretto’s shoes come in 9 styles and 5 sizes for kids from 18 months to 8 years, with MRP ranging from 2199 INR to 2899 INR.
