Arogya Setu App is a protective shield against Novel Corona: Governor Lalji Tandon
Bhopal: Governor Shri Lalji Tandon said that the Arogya Setu App is a protective shield against the infection of Covid-19 virus. The need of the hour is to make personal distance a habit for prevention against the virus. He said that no need to fear Corona only fight against it. With this resolve that self control and self-restraint is the key to life. Shri Tandon was addressing the programme in which Arogya Setu App was downloaded by all officers and employees of Raj Bhavan through video conference today. All officers and employees in the programme loaded the app in their rooms. The Governor held a discussion with them in the video conference and saw the action of loading the app.
The Governor said that the art of living with the Novel Corona will have to be learned. New social and work culture will have to be developed. Everyone should vow not to gather and maintain personal distance. He appreciated the initiative of video conferencing with officials and staff of Raj Bhavan and said that similarly office work culture should be developed with innovative I.C.T. Technology. The Governor was told that the roster of the presence of 30 percent employees is being followed in Raj Bhavan.
Governor Shri Tandon said that our country is one which has successfully faced many adversities and challenges of epidemics. This time also the same will happen. With this belief and determination, it is our duty to follow the instructions of the Health Department seriously. He said that the Arogya Setu App is the mirror of our role in the struggle against Covid-19. It will tell us what our situation is. The app will help in removing our apprehensions and misconceptions apart from providing necessary amenities in the state of infection.
Shri Tandon said that it is also necessary to increase immunity in the fight against Novel Corona. Indian knowledge system describes the methods available to increase immunity from the materials available at every home. The need is to be committed to follow them. He said that Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is constantly doing serious monitoring and deep thinking under these adverse circumstances. As a result of his efforts, the statistics of infection and its effects are under control in our country which is so vast. He said that we are all grateful to the Prime Minister.
Secretary to the Governor, Shri Manohar Dubey informed that the Arogya Setu app was downloaded by mobile officers and employees present at the Raj Bhavan during the programme. The employees present at home have also been instructed to download the app, along with their families. He told that arrangements are being made to allow only those persons to enter Raj Bhavan who have downloaded the Arogya Setu app on their mobiles. I.T. in charge Shri Jitendra Parashar said that the video conference was conducted by the N.I.C. Kendra of Raj Bhavan.
