Arrangements finalised for launch of SEHAT scheme at Ganderbal

Ganderbal: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal today chaired a meeting to take stock of arrangements put in place for the launch of SEHAT – a social endeavor for health and tele-medicine scheme by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi through virtual mode on December- 26.

During the meeting it was informed that main function shall be held at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat Ganderbal and block level functions will be held at Trauma Hospital Kangan, Sanik School Manasbal, Primary Health Centre Kurhama and Milat Computers Ganderbal.

The DC stressed on making fool-proof arrangements at district Headquarter where the main function will be conducted and at all identified venues in the district.

He asked CMO and BMOs to arrange TV Sets at each function venue to facilitate the live streaming of telecasts of the Prime Minister and other dignitaries on the occasion of launch of Ayushman Bharat.

The DC also reviewed arrangements made regarding the printing material, invitation cards, registration of beneficiaries, hoardings and awareness generation about the scheme.

The meeting among others was attended by ADC, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, CMO, Tehsildar Ganderbal, Tehsildar Wakura and Lar and BMOs.
