Arrangements finalized for Special Gram Sabhas at Ramban

Ramban: District Administration, Ramban is all set to conduct special Gram Sabhas across 142 Panchayats of 11 blocks with focus on Jal Shakti Abhiyan.

During the Special Gram Sabhas being held tomorrow coinciding with weekly Block Diwas, various activities will be held, including Sharmdaan, Plantation drives, IEC activities, identification of land for Panchayat Ghars, wherever required, awareness on hazards of single use plastic, plastic waste collection, besides identification of Government buildings for rainwater harvesting.

Directions have been issued to the concerned officers to work in tandem for achieving the desired results by involving Panchayat members for sustained development in the district.

The publicity of the programme is also of utmost importance for its success and DIPR Ramban shall regularly disseminate information amongst all stakeholders about the activities undertaken and achievements registered.
