Article writing competition held on NEP in Amrit Kaal
ALIGARH : Nida Moazzam, a BA second year student secured the first position in the article writing competition organized by the National Education Policy (NEP) Cell, Aligarh Muslim University, while the articles written by Adeeba Shariq, a B.Sc. third year student and Asqa Naaz, a BALLB second year student of AMU Murshidabad Centre, were judged second and third, respectively.
The contest was organized on the theme “NEP in Amrit Kaal” in online mode to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of NEP-2020 and the 2nd Akhil Bhartiya Shikhsa Samagam held in New Delhi on July 29-30, 2023. A large number of students participated in the competition.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Mohammad Gulrez, while giving away the prizes and certificates to the winners at a felicitation ceremony held in his office, said it is commendable that our students are aware of the changes in our educational framework brought in by the NEP 2020. AMU has also made significant strides in the implementation of the NEP and the university education system is passing through a paradigm shift according to the proposed changes in NEP, mandated by the UGC.
Dr. Suhel Mustajab, Coordinator, NEP Cell said that with a focus on innovation and industry-oriented learning, the changes adopted by the AMU reflect its commitment to providing a holistic and inclusive education aligned with the vision of NEP-2020. The university remains dedicated to fostering excellence and empowering its students to thrive in the evolving educational landscape.
