ARTO Kulgam holds meeting with District Transport Coordination Committee

Kulgam: Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Kulgam, Dr Mohammad Zubair Lattoo, today held one to one meeting with District Transport Coordination Committee Kulgam to discuss various issues pertaining to transport sector of District Kulgam as well as issues pertaining to General public as well.

He directed the representatives of the committee that a large number of complaints are pouring in from across the district with regard to overloading of passengers beyond the permissible capacity and overcharging.

He said that all the vehicles should be pasted with a copy of fare list and the same should be highlighted at prominent places in the stands.

ARTO Kulgam also briefed them about the COVID-19 pandemic and stressed them to follow all guidelines and SOP as issued by the health department.

Meanwhile, he assured them all the genuine grievances will be forwarded to higher authorities for their timely redressal.

Later, face masks were handed over to the representatives for distribution among drivers.
