Ashkar Husain’s demise mourned

Aligarh: Mr Ashkar Husain, 63, a senior English teacher, who retired from Syedna Tahir Saifuddin School, Aligarh Muslim University in 2017, passed away early morning today at his residence after brief illness.

Mr Husain’s demise is being mourned by all sections of university fraternity and outside.

Mr Faisal Nafees, Principal, STS School said that Mr Husain always provided guidance to his students and he will be remembered for his friendly behaviour and compassion towards his students.

Mr Husain taught English for more than two decades at the University’s Senior Secondary School (Boys) and STS School. He served as the Warden at Allama Iqbal Boarding House and was elected as the President, AMU School Teachers’ Association.
