Ashoka University Awarded Diamond Rating by QS I.GAUGE

New Delhi: Ashoka University has been awarded a Diamond rating by QS I.GAUGE, the India specific rating agency for the Quacquarelli Symonds, London.

The University was awarded an overall as well as individual Diamond rating on seven parameters of higher education including Teaching & Learning, Faculty Quality, Employability, Faculty Diversity, Research and Facilities.

Sharing her thoughts on Ashoka achieving this recognition, Prof. Malabika Sarkar, Vice-Chancellor, Ashoka University said ”We are honoured to be awarded the Diamond rating by QS I.GAUGE. QS I∙GAUGE is a brand incorporated in India as an independent private-sector initiative specialised in rating colleges, universities and schools. It brings together the global expertise, experience, and reputation of UK based (QS) Quacquarelli Symonds.

Based on the globally recognised QS STARS University Rating System, QS I·GAUGE has been adapted to capture the reality of the dynamic Indian education sector while, at the same time, maintaining the strict quality standards that are synonymous with the QS brand. To maintain transparency and quality, audit process is supervised by QS Intelligence Unit, United Kingdom, which produces renowned QS World University Rankings.

For rating all Colleges and Universities in India, QS I.GAUGE follows a customised technique to collect and analyse data. The audit collects two types of data — Survey Data which is collected through surveys of students, faculty, and alumni of the institution, and self-Reported Data which is submitted by the institution in a standardised format.
