ASHRAE AMU Student Chapter office inaugurated at AMU

 

ALIGARH  : Dr Misbahul Arfin (Senior Research Scientist, Prince Sultan Military Medical City, Riyadh, KSA) inaugurated the newly built office of AMU Student Chapter of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) in the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Lab, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. The construction of the office has been funded by Dr Misbahul Arfin.

Prof M Altamush Siddiqui (Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, AMU) and Prof M Muzammil (Chairperson, Department of Mechanical Engineering) were also present on the occasion.

Addressing on the occasion, Dr Misbahul Arfin urged the student members of ASHRAE to work for the growth of the Student Chapter and work for their overall development by attending seminars and extracurricular activities.

Earlier, Prof Muzammil welcomed the chief guest and discussed the importance of HVAC Systems and sustainability. He congratulated the faculty advisors, Mr Taliv Hussain and Dr Mohammad Asif for getting three research projects of $15000 for the session 2022-23 from ASHRAE, USA.

Mr Taliv Hussain provided the details of forthcoming activities planned for ASHRAE AMU Student Chapter while Dr Mohammad Asif proposed a vote of thanks.
