Asia Pacific Institute of Management Welcomes the Freshers To Campus Freshers Event For Batches Of 2022 & 2024
Asia Pacific Institute of Management celebrated Fresher’s party “Rhythm” on 15 th October 2022 to welcome their new entrants with a great enthusiasm and energy. It was a student-driven event – conceptualized, planned, and executed by the PGDM second year 2021-2023 batch. The program was initiated by worship of the Goddess Sarasvati, followed by distribution of the welcome invitations, gifts and flowers to the juniors as a token of greeting and to welcome them in AIM family.
After the felicitation of the students, Director Dr. Balram Rao delivered a welcome speech and also motivated the students to concentrate on their studies, pedagogy and learning activities to achieve their dreams. The day was filled with music, talent, and enthusiasm. The seniors prepared a welcome video for their juniors for refreshing the memories of their time spent in the college. A number of cultural performances like dance, songs and talent hunt were organized.
A Ramp walk and Talent show was also organized to select Mr. and Miss Freshers of AIM. Total 3 rounds were there. First round was Ramp walk, second round was Talent show and third round was Questionnaire round. Miss Apoorva Ghaie (PGDM-Healthcare 2022-24 Batch crowned as Ms. Asia-Pacific Fresher. And Mr. Aziaz (PGDM-General 2022-24 Batch) crowned as Mr. Asia-Pacific Fresher. Miss Vashnavi and Mr. Abinash (PGDM- 2022-24 Batch) grabbed the position of first Runner-ups.
There were many other awards like Miss Talent and Mr Talent, Ms Confident, and Mr Confident were awarded to students based on various talent rounds. The event culminated with an enthralling dance performance from students, staff and faculty members. Senior students show their management skill as gracious hosts and gave their juniors some beautiful gifts along with lifelong memories.
While presenting the Awards, Dr Rao describes, “We are so happy and feels good to see our student’s live performance, fun activities and enjoyment happening back after two years to barren campuses after covid-19. It’s so gratifying to see the fresh faces, their unbridled energy, and their enthusiasm, by transforming such wonderful spirits into tomorrow’s leaders; we will surely make our institute great again. ”
Mesmerizing dance, solo cum group and singing performances by students of both years were witnessed and enjoyed by the students, admission team, faculty and staff members. The program was ended by the vote of thanks by Mr. Chandrakant Director Admissions and student acquisition.
