Asian Athletic Championship: 300 KISS students to Perform Cultural Programme
Bhubaneswar: Opening and closing ceremonies of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships kicking off at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar from July 5, 2017 will include cultural performances by 300 students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). Students, who are presently practicing in KISS campus, will move to Kalinga Stadium for full rehearsals from July 1. Choreographers have been appointed to help children perfect their moves. Well-known Bollywood Choreographer from Zenith Dance Group and Odia Choreographer Bidyadhar Barik are training the students. Expressing his pleasure, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, it is a matter of pride for KISS and tribal community that students of KISS will be performing in an international mega event. Earlier also, students of KISS have participated and been awarded at many regional and national cultural events. KISS students are not only excelling in education, but also in various extracurricular activities.
