ASSOCHAM presents Parentof Innovation Awards for Best practices in schools
Bangalore, June 27th 2017: ASSOCHAM in association with Parentof presents ‘Parentof Innovation Awards’, India’s largest parent-school study that aims to recognize extraordinary commitment by schools towards 360-degree student growth and development. Schools across Karnataka can participate in Parentof Innovation Awards by submitting the nomination form at http://www.awardsof.com . By participating in this award, schools will be recognised on a national level for their best practices implemented towards the growth of their students. Winning schools will be covered as a case study in India’s first publication focused on Innovations in Schools – The Parentof School Innovation Review 2017. The outcome of this study will also provide insights for state and national level govt. policy making. Any school across Karnataka implementing CBSE, ICSE or state board curriculum with minimum 100 students can participate in Parentof Innovation Awards. The schools will be judged on five categories that include innovations in parent engagement, student health & safety, co-curricular development, information and communication technology and innovation in inculcating value education.
The nominations will have a filtering process based on the selection criteria. The respective school representatives will be interviewed and the innovative practices will be documented and presented to the Jury. Each category of awards has about 20+ parameters on which each school is judged. The Jury will select the winners under each category based on their evaluation. The jury this year includes eminent and well-known personalities from the fields of Technology, Education, Public Service and Government.
The winning schools will be covered as a case study in India’s first publication focused on Innovations in Schools – The Parentof School Innovation Review 2017.
The study will lead to an awards ceremony on 27th August 2017 to recognise the schools which have implemented innovative best practices with effective results. The recognised schools will be selected based on a Jury Choice Award, as well as a Parent Choice Award. Eminent personalities such as the Hon’ Chief Minister of Karnataka, Hon’ Primary and Secondary Education Minister of Karnataka, and the Heads of Education regulatory and promotional bodies have been invited as guests of honour. Over 300 schools will be participating in the research and over 100 schools will be present at the award function
