ASSOCHAM Recognizes HR Excellence at Trailblazer Awards Ceremony in Bengaluru; Calls for Empowering India’s Workforce

· According to BV Naidu, Chairman, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), the Government is working on the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ outreach program, which aims to create opportunities for talent to thrive outside of Bangaluru. Places like Mysore and Hubli would be considered for this expansion.
· In addition, the government is working towards establishing state-of-the-art co-working spaces in Mysore.

Leading industry body the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) celebrated exceptional leadership and innovative practices in human resources at the HR Trailblazer Awards Ceremony’ held Thursday in Bengaluru. Themed “Empowering India: HR Vision for Sustainable, Innovative People Practices,” the event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and HR professionals to discuss the future of work in India.

Shri. Dinesh Gundu Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka, delivered the keynote address. He stressed the importance of education, skill development, and healthcare in building a robust workforce for corporate India. Congratulating the winners, the Minister emphasized, “India is the biggest power when it comes to knowledge and skills. With proper training and skill set, India will become an unbeatable nation in the coming future. With a population of over 140 crores, this is our biggest strength. We have achieved a lot; the corporate sector has grown tremendously in the last 40 years. In the years to come, there will come a time when we will be considered a world superpower. But it’s a process that we have to keep working at and keep improving ourselves, innovating, and learning.”

 

“It is necessary to properly utilize our precious human resources to build a healthy, sustainable and strong India. We will continue to work together for the development of our country, ” the minister reiterated.

 

BV Naidu, Chairman, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) said “We are delighted to be here with all the delegates. Our mission is to nurture talent, focusing on both retaining and reducing attrition within our talent pool. We are currently working on the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ outreach program, which aims to create opportunities for talent to thrive outside of Bangalore. We’re considering expanding to cities like Mysore and Hubli. Additionally, we’re working towards establishing state-of-the-art co-working spaces in Mysore. These spaces will engage talent within their own regions, providing them with better opportunities and fostering regional growth.”

The HR Trailblazer Awards honored pioneers from corporations driving innovation, inclusion, and excellence in the workplace. Dr. Dathu Rao Memorial Charitable Trust, Federal Bank, Satya Special School, Sri Kauvery Medicalcare India Ltd, GI Infotech Pvt Ltd, Simnovus, Calibehr Business Support Services, Sonata Software Limited, RRD GO Creative℠, and MulticoreWare India Private Ltd were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the field of human resources, receiving awards in various categories.
