Association of International Students President Meets with UrFU Foreign Student Association Chairmen
The meeting between the chairmen of the UrFU Foreign Student Associations and Issa Shaabo, President of the Association of International Students (AIS), took place in UrFU on April 23.
At the meeting, the chairmen got acquainted with the work of the AIS, learned about its goals and objectives, and asked questions to the AIS President and the representatives of the UrFU International Office. The students were mainly interested in employment opportunities for foreign students after graduation and the development of sports projects and events. They received good feedback and exchanged contacts with the AIS President for further implementation of projects.
Ural Federal University is one of the leading universities in Russia founded in 1920. UrFU is located in Yekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, an economic, industrial, scientific and cultural center of Russia. The university is the project office of the Ural Interregional Research and Education Center “Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials” designed for solving tasks of “Science” National Project.
