AVPL and SGT University Forge Alliance to Establish Global Skill & Innovation Hub
Gurgaon :AVPL, a pioneering drone technology company headquartered in Gurgaon, and SGT University, a renowned State Private University located at Budhera, Badli Road, Gurugram, Haryana, have joined forces to create a transformative educational initiative — the Global Skill & Innovation Hub (GSIH).
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) inked between AVPL and SGT University signals a significant step towards advancing education, innovation, and entrepreneurship in emerging fields such as drone technology, agriculture, and Industry 4.0. As per the agreement, the GSIH will serve as a hub of learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship, equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, laboratories, and facilities dedicated to fostering practical skills and knowledge.
Under the stewardship of AVPL, the GSIH will offer a comprehensive array of training programs tailored to meet the demands of today’s dynamic industries. These programs, which include Remote Pilot Certification Course (RPC), Agriculture Drone Spraying Course, and 3D Printing Course, Kisan Drone Entrepreneurship Course, Battery Service Repair, Drone Servicing, Entrepreneurship Development among others, will equip participants with the necessary skills and expertise to thrive in their respective fields. AVPL shall provide necessary expertise, resources, and curriculum development support for the implementation of various training programs and initiatives at GSIH. AVPL will also facilitate industry collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities for students enrolled in the training programs offered at GSIH.
Furthermore, AVPL will extend incubation support to eligible startups within the SGT University campus, providing them with guidance and resources to navigate the intricacies of business development. SGT University will identify and recommend promising startups for participation in AVPL’s incubation programs, leveraging its vast network and resources to nurture budding entrepreneurs.
AVPL will provide intellectual and infrastructure support for technological research in areas of mutual interest. Both parties will encourage and facilitate joint proposals on thrust areas for funding. AVPL will organize seminars, workshops, conferences, hackathons, and other capacity-building programs. The MoU will also allow each other to use the name and logo as a partner for promoting the startup ecosystem.
