Awareness camp for Women held at Chanderkote

RAMBAN : An awareness camp to educate unemployed women about the government schemes was today organized jointly by the Departments of District Industries Centre, Handicrafts and Handloom here at Panchayat Ghar, Kunfer in Chanderkote.

The camp was held under the supervision of General Manager, DIC Ravinder Anand.

Local Sarpanch, Dilawar Ali was the chief guest on the occasion.

In the Camp the women were made aware about various government sponsored employment schemes like Credit Card Scheme for artisans and weavers, Mudra Yojna, besides benefits of formulating Self Help Groups or Societies, especially about embroidery, tailoring, packaging, pickle, Pappad, jam and bakery making etc.

On the occasion the pamphlets containing information about various schemes were also distributed among the aspiring women entrepreneurs.

At last some women also got themselves registered for securing loans for establishing societies and Self Help Groups.
