Awareness camp on PMEGP organised in ITI Reasi

REASI : District Industries Centre, Reasi on Monday organised a seminar cum awareness camp here in Industrial Training Institute Reasi to educate the trainees about the incentives provided under Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Program(PMEGP) being implemented by Industries & Commerce Department/District Industries Centre, Reasi.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and supervision of Mohammad Anwar Banday, General Manager DIC.

The seminar started with the welcome note delivered by Rajesh Banotra, Superintendent ITI.

The Functional Manager, Ankur Kalotra highlighted the schemes being implemented by the Department to encourage the youth to become job creators instead of job seekers. The FM gave a PowerPoint Presentation explaining in detail the incentives provided under the PMEGP scheme and also sensitized the participants about procedure and uploading of application forms besides the benefits of enrolling with DIC.

The students of ITI Reasi were told about various benefits / subsidies they can get to start their own ventures by availing financial assistance under the PMEGP Scheme in manufacturing and services sectors.

The aspiring students were motivated by the scheme and they were willing to step ahead to avail benefits after completion of their courses.

At the end, the Functional Manager, District Industries Centre, Reasi presented a vote of thanks to the Superintendent ITI, Reasi, staff members and students who made their precious presence in the event.
