Awareness program on Poshan Abhiyan held at Dansal

JAMMU : Integrated Child Development Scheme Dansal, in collaboration with cultural wing of department of Information and Public Relation, AYUSH wing of Health and Medical and Education Department today organised an awareness Programme here under Poshan Abhiyan.

Tina Mahajan DY. Director ICDS J&K was Chief Guest, while Dhruv Gupta, Tehsildar Dansal, Assistant Professor, GDC Jindrah Sunil Dutt Sharma; ZEO Dansal Charanjeet Singh; Medical officer Dansal Dr. Aditya Kapoor; Sarpanch Tara Mohammad Siraj-ud Din and Sarpanch Dansal Soma Devi were guests of honour on the occasion .

The welcome address was delivered by CDPO Dansal, Sayeedaq Parveen. She highlighted the importance of the Nutritious Diet and listed the series of activities organised by the Dansal ICDS during Poshan Maah 2021.

A cultural program featuring Folk songs, patriotic songs, songs based on Covid Appropriate Behavior and a nukkad Natak was presented by artists of DIPR Cultural Wing. Godh Barai and Poem recitation were other attractions of the event.

Various recipes with notorious ingredients were also displayed.

The Chief Guest highlighted the importance of notorious food, health and hygiene and also said that awareness is key to eliminating Kuposhan from Jammu and Kashmir.
