Awareness programme held on digital marketing

Aligarh: The Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University organized an awareness programme on “Digital Marketing”, co-conducted by the New India Institute of Digital Marketing (NIIDM) and DigitalKal, Aligarh.

As a resource person, Mr Vivek Malik (Co-founder, DigitalKal) highlighted the importance of digital marketing and urged the participants to remain aware of the latest developments in this field and get acquainted with the new technologies such as graphic designing, video editing, social media marketing (campaigning on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube) and e-mail marketing.

Mr Mukul Goyal (Centre Director, NIIDM) discussed the important features of digital marketing whereas Mr Viney Kumar (Trainer, NIIDM) demonstrated the registration process for working and earning from home.

Prof Naima Khatoon (Director of the Centre) highlighted the benefits of social media marketing and said it has acquired imminent significance for small scale enterprises to make reach to even financially weaker segments of society and flourish their business in a highly competitive atmosphere.
