Awareness programme on Civil Services examination held at Khag, Budgam

 

BUDGAM : A daylong awareness cum interaction programme on Civil Services examinations was held today at Government Higher Secondary Khag, Budgam.

During the program, Assistant Director District Employment and Counseling Centre, Mohammad Rafiq Bhat, District Information Officer, Tajamul Yousuf, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Zamir Ali, Irfan ul Ashaq CDPO Baramulla held an interaction programme with Civil services Aspirants assembled at Khag, Budgam.

Hundreds of students participated in the awareness programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Rafiq said that dedication, commitment and passion is critical to crack any kind of competitive exam. He said that Aspirants should devote quality time towards competitive Exams and should add to their knowledge base by thoroughly preparing various subjects including Geography, History, Economy and Polity which are basic components of civil services Examinations.

He further urged aspirants to put extra efforts in order to fulfill and achieve their dreams.

Tajamul Yousuf in his speech remarked that the Civil services job gives an ample opportunity to realize personal and professional goals; one can serve the society at a much bigger platform through civil services.

He also informed the Aspirants that answer writing skills in the civil services exam plays a critical role in performing well and in this regard Aspirants need to develop these skills in order to crack Examination.

He further appealed to the Aspirants to prepare in advance as they have sufficient time period at their disposal as time is the essence of any competitive Examination. Desire, perseverance, consistency are the qualities of a good civil services aspirant, Tajamul added.

Zamir Ali also addressed the gathering and apprised the Aspirants about the various stages and pattern of Examination including Prelims, Mains and Interview. He further highlighted the role of the internet in collecting good quality study material for the Examination.

The aspirants should not skip preparing from books at the cost of online material available on internet; Zamir cautioned and added that they should display an element of discipline and seriousness while preparing for any kind of Examination including civil services.

While commenting on the struggle and challenges pertaining to civil services Examination, Irfan ul Ashaq revealed that Aspirants need to be well informed about all issues and current Affairs in news. He stressed upon reading newspapers to add value to the answers which Aspirants shall write in Examination.

Irfan also emphasized upon the multi dimensional approach and strategy to be adopted by Aspirants in qualifying civil services Examination.
