Delhi : Stress is a prevalent issue among school students, which often results in lower academic performance, anxiety, and depression. Recognizing the significance of stress management, AYUDH, the youth wing of Mata Amritanandmayi Math, conducted an interactive session on April 6, 2024, at Amrita Vidyalayam school in Pushp Vihar, Saket. The event aimed to equip young students with effective tools and tips to combat stress and enhance their overall well-being.

The session, presided over by the Vice Principal of Amrita Vidyalayam, Ms. Vijayalaxmi Anandan, along with representatives from AYUDH, including Br. Mokshamrita (National Coordinator), Br. Harshamrita (Regional Coordinator), and Ms. Uma (State Facilitator), as well as Dr. Meenakshi, Mr. Dhruv, and Ms. Aastha, provided insights into the causes and consequences of stress faced by students. Participants gained practical approaches to address stress and learned stress management techniques.

The session featured a series of activities designed to stimulate creative thinking and impart practical stress management skills to students. Participants were engaged and enthralled by the activities, which provided valuable insights into stress management.

“We are delighted to have hosted this insightful session on stress management,” remarked Ms. Vijayalaxmi, Vice Principal of Amrita Vidyalayam. “Empowering youth with effective stress management skills is crucial for their overall well-being and development.”

“Under the guidance of Amma, AYUDH has been conducting stress management programs for school and college students across India,” said Br. Mokshamrita, National Coordinator for AYUDH India. “Empowering the youth with these skills is essential for the nation’s development. AYUDH India remains committed to empowering youth across India with essential life skills for personal growth and societal well-being.”
