AYUSH Kathua organises awareness camps on Covid Appropriate Behaviour

 

KATHUA : As a part of its ongoing Campaign “Ayush way to keep Covid away” being held under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, Ayush Unit Kathua organised a camp here at Anganwari Centre Krishna Colony.

Dr Nitin Sharma, Councillor Meena Kumari, Zonal Supervisor and Anganwari workers attended the camp.

The camp was organised for pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescent girls and young children. About 50 persons attended the camp by strictly following the covid protocol.

During the camp participants were made aware regarding the Covid Appropriate Behaviour i.e. to maintain social distancing, frequent hand washing or using hand sanitizer, to wear face mask, avoid crowded places, avoid unnecessary travel, greeting friends and relatives without physical touch and if there is any symptom, prompt self-isolation.

Yoga Demonstration was also presented for the participants and they were advised to practice yoga to stay healthy and fit. Masks were also distributed among the participants during the camp.

The second camp was organized at Government Medical College Kathua for the patients. Around 40 persons attended the camp at GMC. The lecture on nutrition under poshan maah was delivered to the patients and staff of Gynae department GMC & AH Kathua. They were educated about covid appropriate behavior.

Dr. Anil Mehta and other Faculty members were present on the occasion.
