AYUSH Kishtwar hosts Cascading Re-orientation training programme for CHOs and ASHAs
KISHTWAR : Under the guidance of Director AYUSH, Dr.Mohan Singh and under the close supervision of District Nodal officer AYUSH, Dr.Tariq Hussain, a series of Cascading re-orientation training programme are being organised at various locations of the district Kishtwar.
In the series, a re-orientation training programme for Community Health Officers was organised today here at DC Complex.
The training was imparted to the Medical Officers particularly working for newly upgraded Ayush Health & Wellness Centres.
A total of twelve new AHWCs have been upgraded in this financial year while several other Dispensaries are in the row of upgradation.
Medical officers Dr. Prince Gupta and Dr. Juneed Iqbal imparted the training to the medical officers of newly upgraded dispensaries/AHWCs.
Similar training programme was conducted for ASHA workers at various centres including Ayush Health and wellness center Proper Kishtwar, Ayush Health and wellness center Philler, AHWC Gulabgarh and AHWC Sangrambhatta by the concerned medical officers.
The main purpose of training was to enable the medical officers of the AYUSH to utilise the services of the ASHAs and other paramedical staff of the medical fraternities for the betterment of the general public at large.
Besides, it further aims to prepare the proper records of general public and diseased ones of the concerned areas and screening of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD’s).
Also, AYUSH Health and wellness centers fulfills the main aim/objective of Ayush as to maintain the health of the healthy individual and to cure the diseased one.
