Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (India@75); DIPR organizes cultural programme at Panchari

UDHAMPUR : As a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav (India@75) celebrations, the Cultural Wing of Department Information & Public Relations( DIPR) Jammu, in collaboration with District Information Centre, Udhampur today organized a cultural programme here at Panchayat Ghar Chulna Tehsil Panchari of District Udhampur.

Sarpanch of the Panchayat Chulna Kuldeep Kumar was the chief guest at the event held to spread awareness about the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and COVID-19 Appropriate Behavior.

Artists of the cultural wing Jammu and District Information Centre, Udhampur, including Mohinder Panchairvi, Suresh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar presented a musical programme featuring patriotic and Folk songs. The cultural program was highly appreciated by the audience. During the programme, local artists Sanjay Kumar and Ritik Dogra also presented theme based cultural performances.

Addressing the participants, the chief guest hailed the information department for presenting such a beautiful cultural programme on Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav which is being celebrated across the Natuon to mark the 75 years of India’s Independence. He hoped that the Information department would hold more such events on the same topic in near future. Local Sarpanch also praised Information department for holding the musical progamme on Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. He asked the participants to follow the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.

Among others, Naib Sarpanch, Vijay Kumar, Panch Sudershan Kumar, Sudesh Sharma, Surinder Khajuria and other prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
