Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav: GDC Sunderbani organises Essay Writing Competition

JAMMU : GDC Sunderbani organised an inter-college essay writing competition on the theme, “Life and Teaching of Guru Gobind Singh Ji ’’ as part of the ongoing Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

A large number of students from various colleges participated in the competition. The top prize was bagged by Anju Bala and Parerna Sharma. The first runner up position was secured by Rimpy Kumari and Vishali Sharma and Sonali Sharma, Tanvi Sharma, Tamana Sharma and Shubham Sharma were declared as second runner-ups.

The competition was organised by the Department of Hindi, under the supervision Principal GDC, Prof Dr Vandana Gupta. HoD Economics, Prof. Sham Lal, Sh Kuldeep Raj and Sh Sandeep Sharma were the judges at the event. The programme was coordinated by HoD Punjabi, Prof Beant Singh and Hod Hindi, Prof Rabinder Kumar.
