B2V-4 programme commences at Pulwama
PULWAMA : The phase first of Back to Village 4th programme started today across the district witnessing massive public participation and enthusiasm.
The programme is aimed at to take governance to the doorsteps of people of rural and remote areas.
During day long programme, gram sabhas were held in all 190 panchayat halqas of the district where visiting officers took first hand appraisal of the various issues raised by the people and sought redressal of their grievances.
The visiting officers listened to the people and also took feedback of different Govt schemes implemented by the various Govt departments.
The people projected various demands and issues before the officers including improvement in drinking water supply, unscheduled power cuts, low voltage, enrollment of farmers in PM Kisan scheme, electrical poles and repair of damaged roads etc.
People in Gram Sabhas convened by the visiting officers shared their feedback about government schemes with them and sought redressal of their grievances.
They assured the people that their genuine demands will be projected at appropriate platforms.
PRI members, civil society members and Large number of people attended the function.
