B2V3 concludes in 101 Panchayats of Rajouri
Rajouri: The final day of the third edition of the ambitious “Back to Village programme” concluded with verve across different Panchayats of Rajouri district.
The visiting officers chaired special Mahila and Bal Sabhas which several issues related to women and children in the Panchayats were discussed in detail. The visiting officers listened to the grievances projected during the gram sabhas and documented the same and assured that all the demands and issues shall be redressed in a phased manner.
The visiting officers accompanied by PRI members of the Panchayats inaugurated a number of works including those completed under languishing scheme, 14 FC, MGNREGA, B2V2 etc. Grah Pravesh ceremonies were also held on the day in which the visiting officers handed over the keys of the newly constructed houses under PMAY.
The visiting officers inspected developmental works, organised sports activities in many Panchayats of the District.
During Back to Village program at Siot, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani handed over a cheque of ? 2.05 Lakh as death assistance to Jeet Kumari Wd/o Ghian Chand provided by J&K Building and other construction workers welfare Board.
BDC Chairperson Block Siot, Balkrishan Sharma, ASP Nowshera, GL Sharma, ALC Angrez Singh, DPO Chandrkant Bhagat, BDO, Aarti Sharma and Sarpanchs and Panchs were present on the occasion.
