B2V3 programme commences at Panzinara-B

Srinagar: Three day’s programme under governments Back to Village phase-3 commenced today at Panchayat Halqa Panzinara B, of Srinagar district.
The visiting Officer Omera Jan Mir, Director planning, Social Welfare Department, presided over the B2V3 programme to take the notice of public issues.
The programme was attended by various departments including ICDS, PHE, PDD, Rural development, agriculture, horticulture and other line departments.
On the occasion, locals raised several issues, grievances and demands, the Visiting Officer assured them of redressing the same forthwith.
The Visiting Officer also conducted visits to ICDS Anganwadi Centers to inspect their condition, She also took spot visits to Jhelum Bund and the locations where different works had been carried under MNREGA.
Speaking about the benefits of the B2V programmes, Sarpanch Abdul Gani Malik said that different developmental issues raised in previous programmes were addressed including construction of retaining of Jhelum River at Panzinara, construction of bridges and sewage water drains.
He, however, said that the participation of villagers made these programmes including Block Diwas successful.
