B2V3 programme held at Soiteng Srinagar

Srinagar: The main aim of Back to Village programme is to involve the people and the government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development, said a visiting officer during B2V-3 programme at Government Middle School Soiteng.
The visiting officer interacted with Saranch, Panch and the villagers of Panchayat of Soiteng area.
The officer listened to the people’s grievances and informed them about various schemes run by government for the welfare of people.
The visiting officer also met with a deputation of local people.
The deputation demanded the upgradation of middle school Soiteng.
At separate programme of B2V-3 at Lasjan, and Khanmoh areas, the visiting officer listened the grievances and demands of people including School building/upgradation, Primary health center in their area, besides, Aganwadi facilities, Electricity, Roads, Transport Service, Pensions, Adequate facility of drinking water and Water Supply, etc.
Various representatives of different departments also joined the programme (Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Health, NRLM, Education, Social Welfare, Jal Shakti Department) and raised awareness about individual beneficiary oriented government schemes available.
During camp various sign board and display of various schemes e.g. SMI (surface minor Irrigation),FR (flood restoration), HKKP( har khet ko Pani), various Scholarship for minority and SC/ST, job card under MGNREGA, pensions and other individuals assistance schemes of Social welfare department.
The visiting officers said that some problems and demands of people were sorted out on spot while others were forwarded to higher authority for redressal.
