B2V4: 3rd Phase commences with much enthusiasm in 69 Panchayats at Budgam
Visiting Officers distribute recreational items, Land Passbooks, Baby Kits, Soil Health cards, Oilseed Mini Kits among beneficiaries
BUDGAM : The third leg of ongoing ambitious ‘Back to Village’ phase IV (B2V4) programme commenced today with much fanfare and enthusiasm at 69 Panchayats in Budgam.
During the programme, Visiting Officers distributed recreational items among senior citizens clubs, baby kits to lactating mothers, land passbooks and health cards among beneficiaries.
They also laid foundation stones for various developmental works, inaugurated a number of projects, participated in plantation drives and inspected work progress of ongoing projects in various Panchayat Halqas.
Number of visiting officers also conducted visits to Amrit Sarovars besides chairing Maha Gram Sabhas and public grievances redressal camps which witnessed overwhelming public participation.
Locals enthusiastically participated in these programmes and conveyed their views and feedback regarding the work done by various departments in their respective areas.
The visiting officers also inaugurated various sports activities at many schools and distributed Soil Health Cards and Oilseed Mini Kits among beneficiaries.
During the events, meetings with senior citizens, youth clubs were also held where people of different age groups raised their demands and issues.
On the occasion, the visiting officers also inspected the stalls set up by various departments to display their products and generate awareness about their welfare schemes among the general public.
During the programmes, students presented various cultural programmes.
Among other senior officers who attended B2V4 programmes as Visiting Officers were Administrative Secretary, Rehana Batool, VC SDA, Haris Handoo and Special Secretary, Abdul Rashid Fayaz.
