Baby Show-cum-Health Camp by Tata Steel at West Bokaro

West Bokaro: Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS), the CSR wing of Tata Steel, organised a Baby Show-cum-Health Camp today, at Sports Complex, West Bokaro.
The event was inaugurated by Ms Ruchi Narendran in the presence of Ms Mita Singhal, Ms Ranjana Singh and others. It aimed at educating the parents on proper immunisation of the child, breastfeeding practices, healthy food and family planning. More than 600 children under the age of five along with their mothers participated in the day-long show and availed the healthcare services provided by doctors from Tata Central Hospital and TSRDS.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Narendran appreciated the role of TSRDS in supporting the government efforts by providing maternal and child healthcare services in the area. She congratulated the mothers who participated in the show and gave prizes to the winners.

In her address, Ms Singhal stressed that it is the duty of parents to ensure proper nutrition, immunisation and breastfeeding for proper growth and development of their children.
