Back to Village-3 in Doda; Sourabh Bhagat attends Gram Sabha at a Bhaderwah Panchayat

Doda: The third phase of the ambitious Back to Village Program today culminated successfully in 237 Panchayats of Doda district under the supervision of DDC, Dr Sagar D Doifode.
During the third round of B2V-3, 80 Panchayats were covered and all the scheduled activities were conducted in the villages by visiting officers.
Mahila and Bal Sabhas were conducted wherein women and children actively participated and highlighted their demands which were accordingly recorded by the visiting officer’s in the designated booklets.
Moreover Griha Pravesh of PMAY beneficiaries were conducted in many Panchayats and gifts were presented to the beneficiaries as a token of appreciation by the visiting officers.
The visiting officers along with PRI members and locals of the area also inaugurated several works which were recently completed under different heads such as MGNREGA, 14th FC works and B2V-1 works, besides laid foundation stone of new works under various schemes including B2V-2.
As in previous two rounds, third and last round also witnessed the visit of some senior secretariat level officers in designated villages as visiting officers. They also stayed in designated villages for two nights and three days and conducted all the defined activities there.
Senior level officers who visited during third round of B2V3 include Saurabh Bhagat Commissioner Secretary to Government Labour and Employment Department; Pawan Singh Rathore, Director Agriculture Jammu; Dr MK Kumar, Regional Wild life Warden; Naser Ali, Assistant Commissioner state taxes department J&K; Dr Khalid Hussain Malik, General Manager DIC Doda; and Sayed Nadeen Hussain Regional Director state pollution control board Jammu.
During the last day of B2V3, DDC Doda visited many Panchayats of Bhaderwah sub division including village Nalthi, where Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department, Sourabh Bhagat was the visiting officer. The DDC Doda and Sourabh Bhagat attended the Special Gram Sabha of the Panchayat and listened to the local issues and profiled the demands of the public.
The Officers also inspected the stalls put up by the departments at Nalthi Park for dissemination of information.
Meanwhile, the Visiting Officer inaugurated compound wall at Government Primary School Kholra, Development Of Shamshanghat near Nalthi Bridge, and laid foundation stone of culvert and tile work in the Panchayat.
Power tillers, pension payment orders, sports kits, KCCs, soil health Cards and Domicile certificates were also distributed among the beneficiaries.
