Bangaloreans to run for the upliftment of public education at the TCS World 10K

Bengaluru April 11th, 2022: India’s leading education-based NGO Bal Utsav has announced its collaboration with TCS World 10K (TCS W10K)  Bengaluru, scheduled for May 15th, 2022. As a part of the collaboration, thousands of participants will have the opportunity to support a child’s education by contributing a nominal fee of Rs 500 by registering for the event through Bal Utsav’s website here. Participants can also create their own ‘Individual Fundraising Program’ to motivate their friends and family to contribute to the cause. Employees of an organization can also raise funds collectively for the cause as a part of their CSR initiatives through the ‘Corporates Care Program.’

 

Bal Utsav will use the contribution from the participants towards focussed & sustainable interventions to revitalize Government Schools in Karnataka. The interventions include four key areas-School Infrastructure (Including Smart Infrastructure such as internet connectivity, Smart TVs and Ed-tech content), WASH (Water, Sanitation, & Hygiene), Teacher development (Upskilling), and Scholarships for students. 

 

All those who contribute for the cause will receive support and appreciation from Bal Utsav in the form of reservation of space, customized T-shirts, assistance in filling their application as well as the bib collection process. Over the last decade, Bal Utsav has seen over 10,000 runners supporting their campaign #EducationMakesAllTheDifference Bal Utsav will be a part of the TCS World 10K Marathon Bangalore 2022 through the Charity Partners for the event – India Cares Foundation
