Bank of Maharashtra Expands Tie-Up with Manipal Global Academy of BFSI
Mumbai: Manipal Global Academy of BFSI (MGABFSI), a Manipal Group company, has embarked on an expanded scope of collaboration with the Bank of Maharashtra to rollout the ‘Budding Managers Programme’, that seeks to upskill 80+ newly inducted Promotee Officers (PO) at the Bank.
“As technological innovation disrupts the financial services sector even further, we at MGABFSI are leaving no stones unturned, to introduce training modules that are at the cusp of emerging technologies and core banking skills. Our efforts are singularly focused on supplementing India’s transition towards having one of the most sophisticated financial services industry, with highly-skilled professionals,” said Mr. Robin Bhowmik, Chief Business Officer, MGABFSI.
The aim of the skilling programme by MGABFSI is to train candidates to be ‘First Day, First Hour Productive’.
Mr. A.S Rajeev, MD & CEO, Bank of Maharashtra, interacted with the newly inducted batch of 85 POs at MGABFSI. The partnership between the Bank and MGABFSI dates back to 2013, when the institution conducted various short term programs. We also conducted the 1 year PGDBF program for POs and 6 month certificate program for Clerks.
