Bestseller Tracked Down in Hindi for the First Time; Top 10 Books Announced in Fiction, Nonfiction, and Translation
New Delhi: Dainik Jagran Nielsen Bookscan Announced the first ever list of Dainik Jagran Hindi Bestseller at an event here. The list has been segregated into three categories namely fiction, nonfiction and translation.
The sale of books between April and June has been taken into account while preparing the list. The comprehensive list not only includes popular Hindi writers and books, but some popular English authors too have made it to the hearts of the Hindi readers, as seen in the translation category.
The list has been prepared after collecting and analysing data from stores across 39 Hindi speaking cities of the country. The books were judged and selected on various criteria. For instance, only those books whose first version was published on and after January 1, 2011, are included in the list released for April-June 2017.

We joined hands with Nielsen in order to bring a transparent and credible list based on international methodology.”
