Bhaderwah Development Authority hosting Foxglove Bloom festival on May 31
CEO discusses arrangements with stakeholders
BHADERWAH : Chief Executive Officer Bhadarwah Development Authority Nevdeep Wazir today discussed the arrangements for the Foxglove Bloom festival scheduled to be held on May 31, at Noori Hanga Bhadarwah.
The meeting was attended by officers and public representatives to discuss and take suggestions of the stakeholders for organising the event being held under the banner of Tourism Development Authority Bhaderwah in collaboration with District Administration Doda.
The CEO Bhaderwah Development Authority briefed the participants about the event and sought their valuable suggestions and support to make it successful and memorable. He requested the officers to provide all possible support in making the event a grand success.
The officers and public representatives gave their suggestions which were appreciated by the participants. Issues of security, Road clearance, availability of drinking water, installation of food points and other stalls were discussed at length. The event would witness local cultural activities like Diku Dance, folk songs in Bhaderwahi language to be performed by the local artists. Services of local band groups will be sought.
The meeting was presided over by the DDC member Thakur Yudhvir Singh and attended by BDC chairman Omi Chand, ADC Ch. Dil Mir, EO Municipal Committee Yusuful Umar, representative of 4RR, AEE PMGSY, representatives of Tour and Travel Agencies, Hotel and Guest House Association and the representatives of other Departments.
All the participants assured CEO BDA, and Administration of full support and cooperation to make the event successful and memorable. CEO assured that such events shall be held at other tourist spots like Jai, Padri etc also, that will help in promoting the tourist potential of Bhadarwah.
