Bharati College, under the University of Delhi, organised a webinar in collaboration with Sri Aurobindo College (evening) on April 27, 2020. The theme of the webinar was “Criteria 5: Student Support and progression under Revised Accreditation Framework of NAAC”. It was aimed at equipping the different colleges across the country and their Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to work towards improving the quality and getting a good NAAC grade.
The session was hosted by Dr Namita Rajput, Principal (OSD) of Sri Aurobindo College. Dr Rajpur elaborated the various points under Criteria 5 of the NAAC. The session started at 3:30 PM and was attended by over 200 participants from across the country. The participants included educators from various colleges and universities.
Dr Rekha Sapra, Principal of Bharati College and Dr Nandini Sen, IQAC Convenor, were also part of the organising committee of the webinar. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an organisation that assesses and accredits higher education Institutions in India. It is an autonomous body funded by University Grants Commission of Government of India headquartered in Bangalore.
IQAC Bharati College is organising a series of special talks and webinars for the benefit of teachers, scholars, and students during the current lockdown. In this series, the college had organised its first webinar on the topic “Parenting during the lockdown” by Dr Roma Kumar, Clinical Psychologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Delhi.
