Bharti Foundation’s Quality Support Program empowers partner government schools

The Foundation is driving holistic development of students through co-scholastic interventions for more than 3.5 lakhs students from 850+ government schools across 12 different states and UTs of India this academic year Recently, 110 teachers from 80 partner and non-partner government schools from ten blocks of Dumka district in Jharkhand participated in the recently organized district level TLM(Teaching Learning Material) Mela 12 teachers were also presented with Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards under different categories for building the best TLMs.

 Delhi: Quality Support Program (QSP) by Bharti Foundation is dedicated to fostering comprehensive development among students through various interventions. Emphasizing the creation of a conducive learning environment in government schools, QSP has made a positive impact on both students and teachers. The program has successfully facilitated co-scholastic interventions for holistic development of students and overall improvement in school environment in more than 850 partner government schools across 12 states and union territoriesOver 3.5 lakh students and 13,000+ teachers have benefited from the program.

A recent district level Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) Mela held in Dumka, Jharkhand under QSP and in collaboration with DIET, Dumka provided teachers with a platform to think creatively and utilize their skills in developing engaging teaching aids. The event was graced by Kumar Harsh, SDEO; Anurag Minz, Area Officer-Education; Ajay Kumar Gupta, Jharkhand Academic Council Member; Priyankar Pramesh, Faculty Member, DIET and Dr. Kishor Kumar, DIET. 12 teachers were felicitated with Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards for designing best TLMs. These teaching aids, born out of teachers’ day-to-day classroom experiences, offer simple and innovative solutions to make learning more enjoyable and accessible for students.

One of the key areas that QSP works is on strengthening the school leadership & teachers’ engagement by creating a joint vision to transform schools into vibrant institutions of learning. Under this pillar, teachers from 35 partner government schools in Dumka were trained on enriching the learning environment for the students through innovative teaching-learning materials.
