Bhartiya Skill Development University opens research and internship opportunities with Bikaner Technical University

Jaipur: Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bikaner Technical University, Bikaner. Under the MoU both universities will open their doors for exchange programs, internships, as well as research, development and innovation programs for students and staff of both universities from the School of Entrepreneurship Skills. While the signing of the MoU, BSDU’s Pro Chancellor, Dr. Surjit Singh Pabla, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Achintya Choudhury and Dr. Ravi Goyal, Principal, School of Entrepreneurship Skills, along with BTU’s Dean, Prof. Ajeet Singh Poona were present.

Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Pro Chancellor, BSDU, says, “This is a great opportunity for the students of BTU and BSDU to mingle and learn from one another. We will be hosting students and staff from BTU and will help them learn and carry out their research using the resources here at BSDU. We will also help the students of BTU get internships and learn in industries getting field experience.”
Bikaner Technical University, under the guidance of Prof. H.D. Charan, is responsible for the proper working and functionality of the 36 different engineering colleges in the regions of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur (Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar) and Ajmer. Of total 36 colleges, 4 colleges are state engineering colleges and the rest 32 are private engineering colleges.
Dr. Achintya Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, says, “Our students will get more exposure by going to another university for some time and learning their techniques and researching with the help of BTU. BSDU will advantage from this partnership and both universities’ students and staff will benefit by getting more exposure and new opportunities.”
