Bhartiya Skill Development University students attain internships at Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicines, Romania
Jaipur: Bhartiya Skill Development University is sending five students for internship to Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicines, Romania. The five students selected for the internship are from the School of Entrepreneurship Skills at BSDU. The students will be at the university from 15th February to 31st March 2020 and will get to learn the teaching techniques in Romania. Students will also learn about the practices followed by Romanians to start a business of their own. BSDU’s Dr. Ravi Goyal, Principal, School of Entrepreneurship, along with other faculty members, went to Banat University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicines earlier for training.
Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Pro Chancellor, BSDU, said, “BSDU’s students will benefit from this opportunity and will get to learn more on an international basis. Apart from training them in the university, we also send them out in the industry to get field experience, our students will get a similar experience at Banat University. BSDU will also send more faculty members for training.”
BSDU had signed a MoU with Banat University, under which, with compliance to the Erasmus Programme, both universities will open their doors for students exchange and internship programmes for students as well as research, development and innovation programmes for the staff members of the universities for the school of Entrepreneurship Skills. An interactive session was also organised for the students of BSDU, where the team of International Relations and Student Affairs from Banat University explained the whereabouts of the Erasmus programme and the benefits accruing out of it.
Dr. Achintya Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, BSDU, said, “Our faculty and students will get to learn about the education system and the training style practiced in Romania. This is a great chance for the students of our university get exposure and prepare themselves to enter the professional world. Our students will learn how to work with different techniques and make use of the training they’ve received here. Moreover, our students will also learn about the different practices to follow while opening and running a business, and how the people in Romania run their business,”
