BHU CAMPUS IN FULL BLOOM AS STUDENTS ATTEND OFFLINE CLASSES

VARANASI : After a lull of almost two years, Banaras Hindu University Campus is in full bloom as students of second year of all the courses and first year of many courses returned to take offline classes. Many of those who attended classes today, had only been to the campus only once or twice, were enthralled and excited as they physically interacted with teachers and chatted with classmates. They looked happy with the decision and arrangements for offline classes. The process of hostel allotment is underway which is being done on double occupancy basis now. It is to be noted that classes for final year and Ph.D had already started. In wake of reducing number of covid cases, a high level meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir K. Jain had taken a decision on conducting offline classes in the university. The meeting was attended by Directors of Institutes, Deans of Faculties and senior officers of the university. As per the decisions, all the classes of Institute of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Faculty of Management Studies, and Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development are being conducted in offline mode. In the Institute of Science, Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences, Law, Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Commerce, SVDV and MMV all the classes except those of 1st year will be conducted in offline mode.
