BHU VC HOSTS “HOLI MILAN”, NOTED PERSONALITIES AND DIGNITARIES OF KASHI ATTEND GATHERING

VARANASI : Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain hosted the “Holi Milan Samaroh” at his official residence on the eve of Holi. The program was attended by dignitaries and noted personalities from Kashi. Members of the university fraternity also attended the Holi Milan in large numbers. Prof. Jain in his greetings wished for happiness, peace and prosperity all around. “May the festival of colors bring light of happiness, peace and good health in your lives”, wished Prof. Jain. Those who attended the program included Noted classical singer Padma Vibhushan Pt. Chhannu Lal Mishra, Commissioner, Varanasi, Kaushal Raj Sharma, Padma awardees Prof. Devi Prasad Dwivedi, Prof. N. N. Khanna, Porf. Kamlakar Tripathi, Prof. Manoranjan Sahu, Prof. Ritwik Sanyal, Chandra Shekhar Singh, Rector, BHU, Prof. V. K. Shukla, Registrar Prof. Arun Kumar Singh, Dean of Students, Prof. Anupam Kumar Nema, senior functionaries of the university, teachers and officers. Prof. Sangeeta Singh and Dr. Vijay Kapoor from the Faculty of Performing Arts, BHU, presented the musical performances on Holi.
