Bibi Fatima Hall Annual Celebration

 

Aligarh : The curtains closed on “Esperanza’24,” the annual celebration of Bibi Fatima Hall, Aligarh Muslim University, after five days of festivities. The event commenced with sports activities on April 23 and 24, followed by cultural and literary events on April 24, 28, and 29, culminating in a prize distribution ceremony on April 3.

The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. Naima Khatoon, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, emphasizing the importance of student excellence across all disciplines. She stressed the necessity of collaborative efforts between students and faculty to elevate the university to greater heights.

The Guest of Honour, Dean Students’ Welfare Prof. Rafiuddin, appreciated the residents’ achievements and lauded the hall’s infrastructure and progress. He urged students to capitalize on the resources available to them to excel in various fields.

Dr. Ghazala Yasmin, the Provost of Bibi Fatima Hall, praised the dedication of Wardens, Committee members, and staff in making Esperanza a success. She encouraged residents to continue engaging in extracurricular activities alongside their academic pursuits for holistic development.

Miss. Urfa Rais Ansari, the Senior Hall Monitor, presented the Annual hall report, spotlighting residents’ accomplishments in placements, publications, and competitive exams, alongside updates on hall facilities and progress.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Hira Javed, the warden-in-charge.
