Bill Gates hails PM Modi’s development initiatives in digital payment, sanitation, vaccination drive, and women empowerment

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development initiatives in digital payments, sanitation, vaccination drive, women empowerment, etc.

In an interview with a TV channel, he said, India is an example of many things that have been done in women’s self-help groups and digital empowerment in India.

Mr. Gates said a number of things were done well in India and rest of the world are learning from these leadership actions. He described India as super important in terms of its position in the world. He said it is great to see increased use of solar energy in India and companies making huge investments in it.
