Biopic to be streamed as a tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on 90th Birth Anniversary

New Delhi: The 90th birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who served as the 11th President of India with distinction and who was instrumental in India’s success in missile and nuclear technology, is being observed on 15th October, 2021. To mark the occasion, Films Division is streaming a biopic of Dr. Kalam on its Website and YouTube channel.

People’s President (52 Min./ English/ 2016), directed by Pankaj Vyas, is dedicated to the life and works of Bharat Ratna Dr. Abdul Kalam. The documentary highlights many important milestones in his illustrious career, including the pivotal role Dr Kalam played in the success of Indian aerospace science programme.
