Blankets distributed among widows, downtrodden, disabled persons at Kupwara

Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today distributed 100 blankets among widows, downtrodden and disable persons of the district.

The blankets were distributed from the District Red Cross fund.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that concerted efforts are being made by the Administration to provide succor to the needy and downtrodden people of the district. He asked concerned officers to make efforts to provide further support to the poor, disabled and widows across the district out of Red Cross and other Welfare funds.

The ADC Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone and other concerned were present on the occasion.
