Block Diwas held across 13 blocks of district Kishtwar
Kishtwar: A mega block diwas program was today held here at 4 designated locations whereat the people from 13 adjoining blocks participated to apprise their grievances to the officers of district administration.
The outreach programs were held under the overall supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik.
District officers and the other officials of the Line departments participated and sensitized the common masses about their ongoing schemes of their departments.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar along with the BDC Chairman Kishtwar Suresh Kumar Sharma presided over the block Diwas organised at the PWD Dak Banglow.
During block diwas, the PRIs from 4 block namely Paddar,Nagseni, Kishtwar and Dachhan highlighted their grievances. They sought enrolment of left out PMKISAN beneficiaries on priority basis, 100% saturation of the farmers with the KCC loans , provision of high yield plants and seeds to farmers, payment of land and structure compensation of link roads, mitigation of water scarcity, restoration of drainage system in Kishtwar town and adjoining Panchayats.
Besides the issue regarding concession in rates of wood at Forest Depots was also raised.
ADC patiently listened to the grievances of the public and assured early redress of their demands and issues.
LDM, Nasir Hussain, DSWO, Tariq Parveaz Qazi , BDO, Sheetal Sharma, CHO, Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, , CAO, S K Bhagat, XEns, besides Sarpances, panches, Prominent citizens, officers of line departments were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Amir Hussain chaired the block diwas here at the Block headquarter Drabshalla in which the public along with the PRIs from 3 blocks viz Trigam, Drabshalla and Bounjwah participated.
The SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar and SDM Marwah Dr Mohsin Raza, held redress camps at their respective headquarters Mughal Maidan and Marwah.
