Board successfully conducted Geography written exam of class 12 in HP: Chairman

Dharamshala: Dr. Suresh Kumar Soni, Chairman, HP School Education Board, informed through a press statement in Dharamshala on Monday that today on 8 th June the annual exam of the students of geography subjects for plus 2 class was conducted for 3748 regular and 587 students of State Open School. This paper was postponed due to the outbreak of Corona pandemic in March 2020.

He said that this written examination was conducted in the exam centres in the morning session (8:45 am to 12:00 pm) today. Dr soni said, “210 examination centres were set up for the regular candidates and 93 for the State Open School candidates. All the candidates as well as all the staff employed in conducting the examination were wearing face masks. Proper social distancing was maintained in all Examination centres . The candidates were admitted to the examination halls, only after thermal screening before appearing in the exam.” he said that the examination was conducted smoothly, no copying cases were reported from any examination centre and this exam was conducted smoothly.

He said that now the board is in a position to prepare the result in a couple of weeks or so. He said that the result of class 10 is almost ready and can be declared any day now.
