Book Fair to commemorate Constitution Day on November 26-27

ALIGARH : To commemorate ‘Constitution Day,’ Maulana Azad Library at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will host a Two-Day Book Fair on November 26-27, 2024.

AMU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon, will be the chief guest and will inaugurate the Book Fair on Tuesday at 10:30 AM on the lawns of Maulana Azad Library. AMU Registrar Mr. Mohammad Imran (IPS) will be the guest of honour.

Prof. Nishat Fatima, University Librarian and organizer of the Book Fair, said that the event offers an engaging platform to explore a wide range of topics and deepen their understanding in fields like management, health, agriculture, environment, climate change, economics, history, politics, law, Islamic studies, public administration, medical and paramedical sciences, library and information sciences, ICT, artificial intelligence, and literary works in various languages.

Dr. Habibur Rahman Khan, Deputy Librarian and Coordinator of the Book Fair, announced that around fifty stalls featuring empanelled publishers and vendors from across the country will be participating in the Book Fair which will be open until 6:00 PM on Wednesday.
